Trev is a riot! Mark our words...this kid will end up a wrestler or a lineman. He's a brut! He is so tough and happy, he and Brett really love to play together and laugh a lot! Trev started really walking about 2 weeks ago. He walks on his foot/no toes and can really get to cruising. He still lets me backpack him around, which is nice if you want to get anything done. Right now, he is the very independent one that completely hates to sit still...especially at changing diaper and clothes time. We never remember Brett being so strong. I literally have to almost sit on him to pen him down!

The boys update...
Hi all! Just wanted to do a quick update before I update about Thanksgiving and our visit with grandpa Steve and grandma Bon-Bon. The boys are doing really well and it's become a really crazy holiday season around here. I think mostly because we are doing Brett's strabismus surgery on 12/19 and we are trying to do as many fun things as a family before we are facing the unknown of surgery recovery. The surgery is about 40 mins. long and we check in early and should be home mid-day. One of our sweet neighbors, Rae, is staying here the night before to be here for Trev when he wakes up. How nice of her to help us - otherwise, the 4:45 departure time with two little boys would have been insane! We have heard wonderful things about Children's hospital and we are having it done there. We LOVE our pediatric ophthalmologist and things should go perfectly. We can hope and pray that Brett's brain will accept the vision through his weak right eye and start using it in stereo with his strong left eye...time will tell, like anything right?!

A mom friend from Brett and Trev's school made these shirts for the boys - Momma Fish (her son's name is Fisher!) Too cute and so generous!
We are making the transition out of the sink to the tub only because they love playing together better than Trev likes being alone. Plus, his apple bottom makes quite a tidal wave in the sink if there is too much water. He got a hair cut so it is a little less bushy now!
This was a couple of weeks ago - Brett's hair is growing out...and yes, that is powdered donuts on his shirt. The kid LOVES donuts and now prefers maple bars with dad. Talk about changing into a little boy - he's really keeping up with us, growing a lot and has lots of stories/questions for us ALL THE TIME!!
The one year old walker...make that 14 mos. old now!! Where is time going?! Guess I am not leaving enough free time with our schedules...can't remember one month to the next!
Brett and I are still have a wonderful time with Awana. He looks forward to it and wants to go on off nights. Hallelujah! One night he and I made "drive in cars" at home together and then took it to church for Veggie Tales movie night. The cups are all lights! Brett is really into flashing lights right now.... We say a prayer every time we see a ambulance or fire truck with lights on because they are going to help someone that may be hurt or sick. Too cute!
