Onto October..

Hi friends/family...can't believe another month has come and gone! It was a good one here as we approach Trev's first birthday this Friday October 7th. I can't help but think about what we were doing this time of year last year....waiting for Trev's mystery arrival and gender to be known! Here's a few pics over the last month and many more to come for his birthday. Hope you all are well and getting a wonderful start to the slower pace (yeah right!) to the fall season. EVERY MORNING - Trev wakes up bright eyed and bushy tailed and a BIG SMILE!! How lucky are we to start our days with this?! He usually wakes up before Brett, I would write the same of him...but usually Brett starts off with some deep thought!!

My supervisor and her family came to town for work and to spend some time with us...a day at Legoland was in order :) Izzie is almost 3 herself and just started wearing a patch for an hour a day....our sweet little pirates (Brett's 6 hrs. had already come and gone for the day)

The mad scientist and his mac and cheese creation! He's quite the man at feeding time!! What a mess but too funny....that's what happens with no bib and turning your back for a minute :) Nothing that a bath can't take care of!

Brett's really short buzz cut! He's still a real pistol with haircuts...thank goodness the neighbors know us and know that we are not hurting our child. Sure sounds like a lot of drama and pain at haircut time... Brett showing us how he won't act like a maniac when he's "way way tall"

Brett and his group for Little Rascals...they are learning a lot of basic soccer drills and techniques. He's had a pretty good time with it so far...it's early!!
