My home-made Bill Knapp's Chocolate Meets More Chocolate Cake. It's taken everything out of me to avoid the left overs of this one. I just keep thinking "how many miles would that take to burn off?" HA! Seriously, the kicker is the chocolate fudge you warm up to pour over the top. It was fun to try to remake an old classic fave of Josh's :)

Carlsbad has these lovely flower fields that you can go see for about 6 weeks in the spring...they go on for probably a mile or so... We went there with our friends, the Surrit's and Sarah gladly took some family pics of us. We had a great time and she did a killer job with the pics, THANKS SAR!

Trev 6 month pic - we are so lucky to have such a happy baby! He had his appointment last week and weighs 16 pounds (40%) and 26.5 inches (30%) He is really not eating solids yet, but as soon as he does - I bet his weight spikes even more. He surely seems pretty hefty, it surprises us that he is not weighing in a high percentage. But for my arms, each pound is surely noticeable! He did great with the shots too, by the way...this kid is a CHAMP!

Trev is rolling all over the place, loves to be on his belly, acts like he is swimming etc. He is just a fireball in training to keep up with his brother, we know it! He loves to push onto things with his legs and can really get around on the floor - spinning circles, wiggling around like a little worm!
One of our weekend traditions is pancake breakfast...but to spice it up, I made french toast. Brett was loving the dipping of powdered sugar and syrup! Who wouldn't?! We have a lot of fun on the weekends playing, hiking, eating together, doing yard clean up and whatever comes to our mind to enjoy each other's company. Times are surely so treasured when we are not working and we all are together!
Trev thinks that Brett is hilarious! He lights up when Brett is in the room. Brett even tries to make him laugh, but really doesn't even have to because Trev thinks he is the cat's meow! These two are already showing signs of being in cahoots - watch out!

Now this is more like it - he is like this 99.9% of the time!! This kid really does rock, like the t-shirt reads :)
