A few years ago, we used to spend more time with Nate - a.k.a. Lead Solo #5 BLUE ANGEL!! We got in touch with him before the airshow to meet up afterwards to say hi! He kicked some serious butt up there and it was just an incredible rush to watch. What a treat to see him and to know how successful he has been with his amazing endeavors! Congrats Nate and thanks for spending time with us...

Since it was such a long day, Brett had to find time to squeeze in a nap! I have no idea how he did it amidst the loud fighter jets etc. However, he did sleep for an hour. He was a trooper....but in the end, he was really over it on the ride home!
Here are several pics of the cool stunts that were done by these helicopters. These maneuvers are some that cannot be done by normal helicopters...some special set up for military fighting/rotors that make it possible to turn in all directions. We really had a fun day watching all the amazing jets, helicopters, semi-truck with a jet engine on it racing a jet in the air - it was a pretty cool thing to do at the place where they actually filmed Top Gun...
